Kevin Krouglow is an independent Toronto-based composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. No stranger to the industry, he has been been writing music for film for over 10 years, with a little under 4 of those years spent as an in-house composer at Grayson Matthews, an award winning audio-house in Toronto.

He was initially brought on to work at Grayson Matthews on the second season of the popular worldwide Family Channel show "The Next Step", after which he was hired full time, having since worked on the third season of "The Next Step", two seasons of the worldwide Family and Disney Channel TV Show "Backstage", the TV movie "Full Out", the History Channel show "Ice Road Truckers", HGTV's "Property Brothers", SLICE's "Style Factory", and wrote the opening theme to CBC's "Snapshots". His music also appears in numerous commercials for clients including Adidas, Air Canada, Boston Pizza, Campbell's, BMO, McDonald's, Telus, Tim Hortons, Toyota, and Shomi.

Prior to working at Grayson Matthews, Kevin assisted Tom Third as a music editor on the show "Played", and worked as a score prep assistant and researcher on "Pirate's Passage" for Andrew Lockington.

He has also worked on numerous award winning short films, an independent feature "Play, The Film" which got him a nomination for "Best Soundtrack" at the London International Film Festival, two Canadian Geographic videos, and more.

Kevin is classically trained in piano, having studied Theory and Composition at the University of Western Ontario, and is also a self-taught guitarist, bassist, vocalist, and drummer. He also plays the Cello, several world instruments, and is adept at creating and manipulating electronic sounds and samples.

Aside from his Composing career, Kevin has performed in numerous bands as a guitarist, pianist, bassist, and singer/frontman, having played countless shows and festivals including CMW, Warped Tour, SCENEfest, NXNE, and more.
